Babaton Plain Blue 15g
Experience a bold and authentic tobacco taste with Babaton Plain Blue. This non-mentholated, unscented nasal snuff boasts a high nicotine content and a moist texture for easy use. Made with a blend of South African Burley and dark fired tobacco, it offers a rich and earthy flavor with a hint of smokiness. Perfect for those seeking a smokeless alternative.
Newer to snuff, seasoned cigar collector. This snuff stood out and jumped in my daily rotation right away. Very lovely earthy natural tobacco flavor with caramel and nutty undertones. Quite a healthy hit of vitamin N as well. If you enjoy NTSU or TAXI be sure not to overlook this gem! Definitely my favorite non medicated snuff!
I first tried this snuff about ten years ago. It had a coconut scent, very much in the background but still noticeable. The new batches don’t seem to have any coconut scent, but the plain fermented tobacco has its own appeal to me. Earthy black tobacco, moist and easy to take. High nicotine level too. Try it if you haven’t already, it’s a good one.
This snuff is a less ornery version of Taxi or NTSU, and has a lovely coconut like scent with its plain tobacco flavor. It doesn't seem to contain as much nicotine as its aforementioned African cousins, but it still gets the job done.
Furthermore, it is a good bargain--the snuff is packed into the tiny container, and one box lasts a long time and holds-up under heavy use. Good Stuff.
A very natural and straightforward snuff. It's "just" pure tobacco smelling.
A good moisture content, not dry at all. Coarse but not overly.
There is this "nutty" (coconut if you imagine hard enough) smell but it's very subtle. A high nicotine content. Again, this is a very "plain" snuff but it's easy.
(A bit too plain for me, hence the 4 stars)
Just to be clear, this is like a chewing tobacco and fully without any flavour or "notes" of anything. That said, the nicotine is very strong, the grind is thick and dark and earthy, and it can be mixed with other snuffs to achieve a palatable combination. Reminds me of being on safari in Africa, falling into a steaming pile of elephant dung nostrils first and being stung in the face by some psychoactive insect that produces delirium for a few minutes. Not that it is a bad thing. Also, the snuff dries out very quickly after opening the container. Mine must have been extra fresh, because in addition to the elephant dung, it seemed to contain elephant urine as well, although airing it a bit took care of that.
